Bio:

I'm Kirstie, a mother, privately practising homebirth midwife, doula mentor, somatic practitioner and biodynamic craniosacral therapist. I'm the heart behind Birth Begins Within, supporting women and families across South West Sydney and the Macarthur region through pregnancy, birth and postpartum, with a holistic, heart-centred approach to care.

Philosophy of Care / What Women Can Expect:

My birth work began long before I became a midwife, as a doula and birth educator. My path then moved through hospital-based continuity of care and into homebirth midwifery.

I offer care in your own home through pregnancy, birth and postpartum, supporting you to feel informed, connected to your body and confident in your choices. Alongside midwifery, I am also trained in biodynamic craniosacral therapy and somatic and embodied practices, which deeply shape how I hold space through the intensity and transformation of birth.

I am a fierce advocate for every woman's right to an emotionally, physically and spiritually safe experience, and for families reclaiming this sacred time as their own.
