Hi, I'm Jo, Midwife, mother, partner, mentor, advocate, documentary maker, activist, educator, business owner and manager (Birth Time:the village), and passionate about all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I believe that endorsed midwifery is the way of the future and that relationship based care is where it's at.

Philosophy of Care:

"My midwifery practice is guided by the women I support and underpinned by a strong belief and trust in physiology. Accompanying this is a healthy respect for the unknown unfolding of pregnancy, labour and birth.
I believe that every woman deserves individualised relationship based continuity of midwifery care, that honours her and her families unique needs, hopes and desires.
As an endorsed midwife, I provide personalised care that upholds the fundamental rights of informed consent, the right to decline and the right to bodily autonomy.
I work across the full scope of midwifery practice and my care encompasses the needs of the entire family from early pregancy to 6-8 weeks postpartum."
